Music of the future

How does the future of the piano sound? Australian pianist and composer Zubin Kanga examines this question. For this, he augments and wires up the classical grand piano with a lot of tech gadgets. His concerts resemble a happening which combines music with performing arts and promises a unique experience: a cyborg on the piano. Sensor gloves and a helmet, which looks like a mirror ball, but is also fully state-of-the-art technology – these are just two examples of the technical gimmicks with which Zubin Kanga gets never-before heard sounds from the grand. There is also artificial intelligence which complements the music with an equally exciting visual level.
