Workshop »Klassiko String Instruments«

This course takes a closer look at the stringed instrument family. In addition to the strings in a classical symphony orchestra – the violin and viola, the cello and double bass –, the mandolin is presented, as are the banjo and the ukulele. And the harp is also featured. It goes without saying that you can try out the instruments as well! The workshop is recommended for ages 6 and upwards.

Please note: The workshop lasts for 30 minutes, after which Open Day visitors can embark on their own independent discovery tour of the concert halls. Admission is possible from 20 minutes before the start of the workshop via the Kaistudios on the 2nd floor (access via the north entrance, to the right of the escalator). On Saturday, 21 October 2023, the technical presentations and the backstage tours in the Recital Hall end at 16:00 for organisational reasons.
