Malky

Malky’s story began in a Leipzig attic converted into a studio, where singer Daniel Stoyanov and producer and keyboard player Michael Vajna developed the foundation for their debut album »Soon« (2014). Classic Motown song-writing and contemporary electronic music are fused to create a »gorgeous global embrace of pop« (Der Tagesspiegel). With their second album »Where is Piemont«, which was released at the end of 2016, the band with the Bulgarian name expanded their sound, adding elements of European folklore, orchestral music and Las Vegas coolness. With Alexander Schildhauer on the drums, Malky can now be experienced performing a full-length acoustic programme for the first time.
