There is no simple answer to the question of what home - »Heimat« - is. A single response would have to express too many contradictions at once. Home is not – home can be. And it can really be many things: a town or rural scene, memories, people, friends and family, a longing, pain, a nightmare, idyll, loss, habit and familiarity, culture, language and dialect, cuisine, a house, roots, security and so on. All multiplied with feelings and perspectives that are individual to each person – and yet always share common ground in the end. The celebrated tenor Daniel Behle and the horn quartet German Hornsound throw the spotlight on all facets of »Heimat« in their current programme.
