Unifying force

There was no point in time when music entered into her life. It was always there, Fatma Said reveals in an interview. The young singer, who shifts effortlessly on stage between five languages, is overflowing with enthusiasm for her current opera roles and future dream parts, as well as for chamber music and the song repertoire. She makes no secret either of her passion for pop, but her focus remains loyal to »classical« art music, even though as an Egyptian she grew up in an entirely different musical culture.
