The programme »Ein Wintermärchen« has become established as a popular tradition since the Elbphilharmonie opened. After all, stories and songs, festive music and anecdotes belong to Advent like presents under the Christmas tree. This year the charismatic violinist, presenter and ensemble leader Daniel Hope puts on a varied programme. He is ably supported by musicians he is friends with and by the brilliant Katharina Thalbach, who casts a humorous and critical look at the Christmas festivities with her unique voice and inimitable acting style.
