Based on letters, diary entries, contemporary accounts and biographic material, Regula Grauwiller & Ulrich Noethen together with the casalQuartett paint a vivid picture of the life and work of the two musicians Fanny Hensel and her brother Felix Mendelssohn. The fascinating portrait of an exceptional family, of two of Romantic music’s prominent figures and the time they lived in, takes their passionate compositions as its backdrop.
