Aziza: Potter / Holland / Harland

The new band led by double bass legend Dave Holland shows a wide variety of influences from Latin, Caribbean and African music. All three musicians have worked together in other groups, and smooth and flowing ensemble playing is the result. This is music with a strong rhythmic base, featuring a hard-edged groove in numbers like the title song »Aziza Dance«, which hints at West African mythology.
