Juan de la Rubia is the organist at the world-famous »Sagrada Família«, and one of Barcelona’s leading musicians. He began his career in Valencia, and his path as an organist, pianist and harpsichordist led him from there to prestigious stages in more than 30 countries, from the Mariinski Theatre to Westminster, from Paris to Equatorial Guinea. After an enthusiastically received performance in the Elbphilharmonie with the old master Jean Guillou and other organists from all over Europe in 2018, he now returns with a solo programme of spectacular works, from Bach to Wagner and free improvisation.
