After the sensational success of their programme »Midnight Sun« in summer 2019, the Baltic Sea Philharmonic and Kristjan Järvi now return to the Elbphilharmonie. With them they bring the spirit of that unique Nordic natural phenomenon: the sun that never sets. Once again, the musicians from across the entire Baltic region, from Norway to Russia, present »Midnight Sun« entirely from memory, this time interpreting works ranging from Grieg and Beethoven to Rautavaara. The programme also features Kristjan Järvi’s new version of Tchaikovsky’s ballet »Sleeping Beauty« as a dramatic symphony.

Please note: This event replaces the cancelled concert from 5 September 2020. Tickets purchased for the postponed concert are valid for this event.
